Krio Culture and Heritage Sharing Session

Learning Room 2, British Library Learning Centre

Earlier in the year we partnered with the Krios Dot Com and the British Library to host a Krio Heritage Show and Tell session. This was followed by two creative writing sessions, in which participants explored their own Krio heritage and developed personal responses to the cultural artefacts on display and the histories, memories and stories they evoked. In this session, participants will share their work and reflect on their writing journey.

In partnership with the British Library and Krios Dot Com.

Items from the workshop will be on display throughout the festival weekend in the Eliot Room, alongside The Missing Chapter: Black Chronicles Exhibition.

Far beyond the end of the road was a mountain range, and at that time of evening it flattened into a matte indigo wash, like a mural.
