Oxford English Dictionary Recognizes West African English, Adds 29 Nigerian Words & Senses

Oxford English Dictionary has recognized West African English, bringing its number of World Englishes to 15, including Australian, Canadian, Caribbean, Hong Kong, Irish, Manx, New Zealand, Philippine, Scottish, Singapore and Malaysian, South African, and Welsh Englishes. Far beyond the end of the road was a mountain range, and at that time of evening it flattened into a matte indigo wash, like a mural.
